Exit Strategy for Practices, e.g., Medical/Dental, CPA, etc.

I found this article very timely as I am presently working on the sale of two CPA practices and I bumped into two CPAs this morning interested in acquiring practices. Given most practices are built by a single owner or small group of owners often with their name or names on the business, when those names disappear, part of the business may disappear as well. Pay attention to the third exit path in this article: The group dental practice model. Recruiting junior partners and selling the business to them over time is often the most lucrative exit strategy for both practice buyer and seller.
