Why? Firstly economics. Sterling is strong (£1 = $1.56) and the US economy has been out of a recession for over two years.

Then there’s the fact that processing times for E-2 visas (aimed at entrepreneurs who invest $100,000 in a business – see below) are relatively quick, i.e., in some instances 4-6 weeks."
