New owners take over popular Cape Coral waterfront restaurant | CapeCoral.com

Since 2006, The Joint at Cape Harbour has been one of Cape Coral’s premier waterfront dining and entertainment establishments.

With its full range of upscale cuisine and nights of live entertainment, The Joint has welcomed thousands through its doors who come in search of great food, fantastic drinks, and a place to socialize with friends and family.

Now after almost eight years, the popular business is entering a new chapter with new ownership.

Tim Hoffman and his wife Meredith recently purchased The Joint along with neighboring Longboards Cabana Bar and Run Agrounds.

The couple is no strangers to running a business. They also own the Montpelier Plantation and Beach resort hotel in the Caribbean. With school age children, the Hoffmans recently decided to move back to the United States and chose Cape Coral as their new home. At the same time, the couple was looking for a new business venture and heard about The Joint, “We felt this had great potential, and after some discussion we decided it was an excellent opportunity,” explained Tim.

While the couple will still maintain the hotel in the Caribbean, Hoffman says they intend on being hands on owners, “We want to have direct involvement in all aspects of the restaurant.”
