Finding a Good Business Broker | Business 2 Community:
The author suggests the following criteria for selecting a business broker:
1. Ask around
2. Consult professionals
3. Search online
4. Get information from Chamber of Commerce and Development Offices
5. Seek help from business broker associations
My comments to the article:
1. Chamber of Commerce officials will point you to their members. Members are not always your best choice.
2. IBBA is less of a presence in Florida. Use the BBF, http://www.bbfmls.com, to identify business brokers in your area. All Florida Business Exchange intermediaries, including myself, are BBF members.
